August in Queenstown: Day 6

Wednesday 21 August 2019

We went back to Cardrona ski field and I went to kids’ club again.

Dad tried snowboarding and I saw him on the learner slopes.

During my afternoon lesson the power went off for the whole mountain so I got to play in the snow.

The last time I went down, at the bottom I spotted Mum, and she came back to The Den with me. I was going to ask her if she wants to come with me inside, but she beat me to it.

August in Queenstown: Day 3

Sunday 18 August 2019

Mum and Dad tried to wake me up early so we could go skiing at Cardrona.

I was worried about skiing because I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I actually had lots of fun skiing.

I spent the day in kids club and rode both the little and big carpets all the way down.

At the end of the day I skied down the learner slope with Dad and then we all went up in the gondola and at the top we took a picture then Mummy and I went down in the gondola and raced Dad as he skied down the mountain. Dad won!

We also got to see a helicopter land and take off from the skifield.

I can’t wait to do more skiing lessons this week.
