Campervan: Day 9

Sun 6 Oct 2019

We drove back to the boulders at high tide and wore shorts so we could play in the water too, it was lots of fun.

We had lunch in the car park then drove along the Waitaki river and stopped at Waitaki dam, then drove over Aviemore dam and up the other side of the lake to Benmore dam.

We had nibbles at the top of the Lindis Pass and then made it to Bendigo picnic area for the night.

Campervan: Day 8

Sat 5 Oct 2019

Before we left Dunedin, we played mini golf in the morning and went to a playground at the gardens.

Then we drove to Moeraki village and walked all the way to the boulders and back along the beach – almost 7km.

I found a giant pen (stick) and wrote my name in the sand on the way and we climbed lots of the boulders. It was a long walk back and a late dinner today.
